Recruiting and Retention

Recruiting is an extremely important part of our commitment to our clients. We recognize that meeting our clients' demands for available and qualified applicants is paramount to the success of providing quality service. We give our clients the commitment to fill all orders by using all resources possible. We have no limitations to the measures we will take to provide our clients with the qualified employees they require. To ensure we have a team of qualified applicants that have satisfied each of our client's pre-employment criteria, we will continuously recruit and screen candidates. Recruiting methods include referrals, advertisements, job fairs, on-campus recruiting, coordination with agencies handling displaced employees, etc.

Horizon fully understands that employee retention is the key to providing quality, cost effective candidates for each client's assignments. We understand that retention of our quality employees depends upon meeting their needs. We utilize a number of tools to maximize retention.

Customized Evaluations and Training

With prescreening questions, behavioral interviewing and testing, we develop an involved profile of our employees. In addition to skills, we determine temperament, ability to work under pressure, to multi-task, among other characteristics. Our computerized evaluations allow us to asses the range and depth of skills on the most recent and popular software to determine basic, intermediate, or advanced ability. Custom testing enables us to recreate your work formats on our system to test for specific skills or train to your specifications.
